Welcome to HomeZerviz. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the HomeZerviz mobile app, website, and related services (together, the "Platform"). By creating an account, booking a service, or offering services as a provider, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. About HomeZerviz

HomeZerviz is an online marketplace that connects customers with independent service providers and tutors offering home services such as cleaning, repairs, electrical, plumbing, painting, moving, pest control, and tutoring — delivered at your location or online.

HomeZerviz only provides the Platform. We are not the provider of the services booked through it, we do not employ providers, and we are not a party to the agreement between a customer and a provider.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and book or offer services.
• A parent or legal guardian must create and manage the account for any tutoring or service intended for a minor.
• You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Booking Services

When you request a booking you agree to the service description, schedule, and price shown at the time of booking. Providers set their own prices, availability, and service areas. A booking is an agreement between you and the provider; HomeZerviz facilitates it but is not responsible for the performance of the service.

4. Prices & Payments

• Prices are set by providers and shown before you confirm a booking. A platform service fee may be added and disclosed at checkout.
• Where in-app payments are enabled, payments are processed through the Platform using our payment partners. Where in-app payments are not enabled, you arrange payment directly with the provider (for example, cash or another agreed method).
• All amounts are shown in Philippine Pesos (₱) unless stated otherwise.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule a booking subject to the cancellation terms shown for that service. Providers who repeatedly cancel confirmed bookings may face account penalties. Refunds, where applicable, are handled through our support process.

6. Providers & Tutors

Providers and tutors are independent and solely responsible for the services they deliver, including holding any licenses, permits, or qualifications required by law. To help build trust, HomeZerviz reviews provider applications, verifies identity documents, and validates each provider's service address before a profile goes live. Verification does not guarantee the quality or outcome of any service.

7. Reviews & Content

You may post reviews, ratings, photos, and messages. Content must be honest, lawful, and respectful. You grant HomeZerviz a license to display this content on the Platform. We may remove content that is fraudulent, abusive, or violates these Terms.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• circumvent the Platform or its fees, or arrange off-platform to avoid them;
• post false, misleading, or fraudulent information or reviews;
• harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users;
• use the Platform for unlawful services or activities; or
• attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Platform.

9. Our Role & Limitation of Liability

HomeZerviz provides the Platform on an "as is" basis and acts only as a venue connecting customers and providers. To the maximum extent permitted by law, HomeZerviz is not liable for the acts, omissions, or services of any provider or customer, or for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Platform.

10. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or harm the community. You may delete your account at any time from the app; pending bookings may be cancelled and handled under our policies.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date, and continued use of the Platform means you accept the changes.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
